WO.S.A.T is a non-profit organization that was originally created in 2011 by four ladies living in Chicago with the vision to come together as a group and be each other's keeper. Knowing that living abroad is still incomparable to be at home, the vision of the association is to promote togetherness, empower members to achieve excellence and help youth, children back in Togo by providing them with assistance and supplies.
WO.S.A.T conduct its monthly meeting every fourth Friday of the month. At the meeting, various issues are discussed pertaining to the mission and objectives of the group.
In 2014, has made it part of its mission to select at least 2 deprived localities in Togo to donate school supplies to kids and family and encourage them to attend schools. More information about this initiatives can be found on the News/Events page.
Under the leadership of the executive board members, lead by its president, WO.S.A.T has been very active in working with other associations in Chicago and has developed partnership with them with the sole objectives to promote unity, citizenry and African culture.
